Cooking Dishes

Cooking Dishes unlocks recipes one by one. We started with Popcorn: cornfield to pan to striped bucket, and still had 2:18 left on the five-minute timer.

Choose a recipe

Start with the only open recipe on page one

Menu page one lists six dishes. Only Popcorn is colored and unlocked; Banana toast, Hamburger, Tamagoyaki, Steak and Tom Yum Goong sit behind padlocks. Arrows open more pages. Daily Order is next to Menu — we did not need it for the first recipe.

Tap Popcorn for a short blurb and a big green Start. The card calls it crispy and buttery for movies or snacks. Start begins the corn gather.

Prepare the corn

Collect the cob, remove its husk and strip the kernels

Timer was already running in the cornfield. White glove pointed at the exposed cob; empty basket waited below. Our clock read 4:53.

Next screens zoom in: peel the green husk, then strip kernels onto the plate. We hit 4:10 at the kernel step.

Turn on the stove before adding the corn

Stove scene: empty pan, two yellow-liquid bowls, white seasoning, plate of kernels. Power symbol still dark — glove points there, not at food.

Switch the stove on; power button and lights go green. Pour the first yellow liquid, wait for steam, then add kernels.

Add the kernels, then the white seasoning

Hot liquid in, kernels go next. Remaining yellow bowl and white seasoning stay below. Used items vanish, so leftovers are easy to spot.

White seasoning landed as a mound at 2:52. Add the last ingredient, cover the pan, wait for the pop, then serve in the striped bucket.

Complete the popcorn with 2:18 remaining

Finished popcorn fills a red-and-white striped bucket with a green check. Timer stopped at 2:18 — about 2 minutes 42 seconds of a five-minute round.

Green check means done and unlocks the next menu recipe. Tips reminds you if you stall; +45s adds time when the clock gets tight.

Prep ate most of the clock. Following the glove and watching which bowl disappears left us a comfortable margin — we never touched +45s.

When the round feels stuck

You start in a cornfield, not at a ready pan: husk, kernels, stove power, liquids, seasoning, lid. Used ingredients disappear from under the pan, so anything still sitting there probably has not gone in yet.

  • Tips — white glove points at the next target.
  • +45s — only if time is actually short.
  • Wrong order? If a bowl will not move, go back one step instead of mashing the next item.
  • Before waiting for the pop: stove on, seasoning in, lid closed.

Menu page one after Popcorn: Banana toast, Hamburger, Tamagoyaki, Steak, Tom Yum Goong. Finish in order to unlock the next. Same loop later — collect, prep, cook, beat the clock. Daily Order is a separate task path if you want it.
